What is CME ?

CME stands for continuing medical education. But exactly what do we mean ?

I think there are three primary types of CME activity:

1. attendance at medical meetings
2. finding answers to questions directly related to patient care
3. browsing or 'surfing' journals and other available resources

Each of these now has an online equivalent.
